Specifications side by side

Key specs to check before buying

1. Check switch linearity

You should verify the switch type to match your typing feel. The C98 uses Candy linear switches, which provide a smooth press without tactile bumps. This suits users who prefer consistent travel. Other models may use different switch profiles. Always check the published switch name in the specs. Linear switches are common for gaming and fast typing. Ensure the listed type aligns with your preference for sound and resistance before you purchase.

2. Measure desk dimensions

You must confirm the keyboard fits your workspace. The C98 is 16 inches long and includes a number pad. This requires significant desk space. The C75 and B75 PRO are 13 inches long, offering a more compact footprint. Widths vary slightly, with the C98 at 6.6 inches. Check the length and width in the specs. Measure your desk area to ensure the chosen model does not crowd your mouse or other peripherals during use.

3. Verify wireless connectivity

You need to ensure the keyboard connects without wires. All listed YUNZII models are wireless. This offers freedom from cable clutter. You should check if the specs mention wireless capability. Wireless keyboards often rely on batteries. The C98 and C75 are noted for robust battery life in their descriptions. Confirm the connectivity type in the attributes. This ensures you get the flexibility you expect without unexpected wired limitations.

4. Review mounting style

You should consider how the keyboard is mounted. The B75 PRO features a gasket mount. This design can improve typing comfort by reducing rigidity. It may also affect the sound profile. Not all models use this style. Check the product description for mounting details. Gasket mounts are popular for those seeking a softer feel. If you prefer a solid, stable base, you might look for other mounting types. Always verify the mount style in the provided data.

5. Check for media controls

You should look for physical controls if you adjust volume often. The X98 includes a physical volume knob. This allows for quick adjustments without software. Other models may lack this feature. Check the attributes for media controls. The X98 also supports QMK/VIA for deeper customization. If you need tactile volume control, the X98 is a strong option. Verify the presence of a knob in the specs before deciding.
