Who it fits

Key specs explained

Weight: 55g

This listing states the mouse weighs 55 grams. The honeycomb shell design reduces mass, making it lighter than many standard gaming mice. You will feel less fatigue during long sessions. Faster wrist movements become easier, allowing for quicker aiming adjustments. If you prefer a feather-light feel for fast-paced shooters, this spec suits you. Heavier mice may feel sluggish in comparison.

Maximum DPI: 12K DPI

The sensor supports up to 12,000 dots per inch. This high resolution allows for precise cursor movement on high-resolution displays. You can adjust sensitivity to match your desk space and play style. Lower DPI settings offer stability for tracking, while higher settings cover more screen distance with less hand movement. This range covers most gaming needs without requiring excessive hand travel.

Connectivity: Wired

The mouse connects via a cable. This eliminates battery anxiety and potential wireless interference. You get consistent power and zero latency, which matters for competitive gaming. The cable keeps the mouse tethered to your PC or Mac. If you dislike managing charges or want absolute reliability, wired is the practical choice. It also keeps the overall weight down by removing battery components.

Programmable Buttons: 6

There are six buttons you can remap using software. You can assign commands, macros, or shortcuts to these keys. This lets you keep your hands on the mouse for more actions. You do not need to reach for the keyboard for every function. If you play complex games or use many shortcuts, extra buttons improve efficiency. Fewer buttons may limit your customization options.

Design and Build Overview

According to the listing, the Glorious Model O Eternal Wired Gaming Mouse features a symmetrical shape. This design ensures the mouse feels natural regardless of your preferred grip style. You can hold it securely for gaming or use it for general tasks without discomfort. The listing notes that this versatile form factor supports both fast-paced games and daily productivity.

The mouse weighs 55 grams, a figure the listing attributes to a honeycomb shell. This construction reduces mass significantly compared to competitors, which you may find reduces fatigue during long sessions. The listing also specifies a matte black finish for the model GLO-OE-W-BLK. This aesthetic choice helps hide fingerprints and wear, maintaining a clean look over time. You can also find this design in matte white, offering a different visual option while keeping the same structural integrity.

Controls are handled by six remappable buttons. The listing states these can be mapped via Glorious CORE software, allowing you to place abilities and shortcuts exactly where they feel right. This layout keeps your actions seamless in-game. The mouse also includes dual-zone RGB lighting on the flared side panels. You can customize these colors using quick button shortcuts or the software. This feature adds visual flair without altering the core ergonomic design or weight distribution.

Setup and Daily Usage Guide

You connect this mouse via its wired USB interface. This direct connection ensures a stable link without the need for battery charging or wireless pairing. The listing confirms compatibility with Mac operating systems, so you can plug it in and begin using it immediately on that platform.

For customization, you will use the Glorious CORE software. This tool allows you to remap the six buttons to suit your workflow. You can assign specific equipment controls, game abilities, or keyboard shortcuts to these inputs. This keeps your actions seamless during gameplay or when performing daily tasks.

The mouse features dual-zone RGB lighting. You can adjust these colors using quick button shortcuts or by fine-tuning settings within the software. This lets you match the aesthetic to your desk setup or personal preference.

In daily use, the symmetrical shape supports various grip styles. You can hold it securely for fast-paced gaming or use it comfortably for general productivity. The 12K DPI maximum resolution provides precise cursor control. The 80-million-rated mechanical switches deliver crisp clicks. These specs suggest the device is built for durability and accuracy. You get a lightweight tool that reduces hand fatigue while offering extensive control options through software customization.

Before You Buy This Mouse

Before you buy this Glorious Model O Eternal, verify your desk space. The wired connection requires a nearby USB port. You must manage the cable to avoid tangling. Check if your Mac has the necessary ports or if you need an adapter. The listing confirms Mac compatibility, but your specific model matters. You should also consider your grip style. The symmetrical shape suits many, but hand size is key. If you have large hands, test the fit. The honeycomb shell needs occasional cleaning to remove dust. Use a soft brush or compressed air. This mouse sits alongside other ultralight options in our 1 picks. It offers 12K DPI and 55g weight. If you prioritize speed and low weight, it fits well. If you prefer heavier, solid mice, skip it. Ensure your setup supports its features. The dual-zone RGB adds visual flair but drains no battery since it is wired. Keep the Glorious CORE software updated for button remapping. This ensures full control over your six programmable buttons.

Check before you buy

• Verify Mac USB port availability or adapter needs.
• Confirm hand size fits the symmetrical shape.
• Plan cable management for the wired connection.
