Who it fits

Key specs explained

Full-size layout

This keyboard includes a full array of keys, including a dedicated number pad. You get all standard characters without needing to access hidden layers. This layout suits users who work with spreadsheets or enter data frequently. It offers the same typing experience as a desktop board, making it easier to transition between home and office setups without adjusting to a smaller form factor.

2.4G USB-A, Bluetooth

You can connect to devices using a wireless USB receiver or via Bluetooth. This dual approach gives you flexibility. Use the USB receiver for a stable, plug-and-play connection on older laptops. Switch to Bluetooth for modern tablets or phones that lack USB ports. This allows you to pair with multiple devices and switch between them without changing hardware dongles.

2400 DPI mouse

The included mouse supports a maximum resolution of 2400 DPI. This setting controls how far the cursor moves on your screen relative to physical hand movement. Higher DPI allows for faster cursor travel across large monitors or high-resolution displays. You can adjust this speed to match your workflow, ensuring precise control for design work or rapid navigation through long documents.

Rechargeable (Type-C)

Both the keyboard and mouse use built-in batteries charged via a Type-C cable. You avoid the ongoing cost and waste of disposable batteries. The included cable allows you to charge them alongside other common devices. This feature ensures the kit remains ready for travel without needing to carry extra battery packs, keeping your mobile workspace streamlined and sustainable.

3 devices

The system supports pairing with up to three different devices simultaneously. You can switch between your laptop, tablet, and phone instantly. This is ideal for hybrid workers who toggle between multiple platforms throughout the day. You do not need to disconnect and reconnect cables or pairings each time you switch tasks, maintaining a smooth and efficient workflow across your digital ecosystem.

Design and build quality

The ProtoArc XKM01 keyboard features a tri-fold design with a lightweight ABS body. According to the listing, the internal hinges are made of aluminum and tested for 10,000+ folds. This construction supports a durable fold-and-go mechanism that opens quickly. You do not need extra clips or complex setup during frequent travel. The keyboard is non-backlit, which keeps the profile slim. It includes a full-size layout with a number pad. This arrangement suits users who need standard characters and numeric entry without hidden layers. The hard case stores the keyboard, mouse, and a foldable stand for tablets. This creates a portable workspace for hotels or flights.

The included mouse is ultra-slim with a slim profile. It offers 1000, 1600, and 2400 DPI settings for precise tracking. The switches produce 25dB of noise, allowing for quieter work in shared spaces. The entire kit weighs 1.5 pounds. The dimensions are 12 x 5.55 x 1.6 inches when unfolded. The listing advises using the keyboard on a desk rather than your lap or sofa for best results. This suggests the flat, slim design is optimized for stable surfaces. The color is listed as Black Gray, though other options exist. The rechargeable power source uses a Type-C cable. Auto-sleep standby extends battery life up to 150 days for the keyboard. This design prioritizes portability and durability for mobile professionals who need a complete input solution on the go.

Setup and daily operation

You connect this keyboard through two methods: a 2.4G USB-A receiver or Bluetooth. This dual approach allows you to pair the device with three different systems simultaneously. You can switch between your laptop, tablet, and phone without re-pairing. The listing notes wide compatibility across major operating systems, which simplifies the transition between work devices. For the mouse, you adjust the tracking speed using the 1000, 1600, or 2400 DPI settings. This lets you match the cursor movement to your preferred precision level.

In daily use, the keyboard rests flat when unfolded. The listing advises using it on a desk rather than your lap or sofa for best results. This suggests that a stable surface is necessary for comfortable typing. The keys are non-backlit, so you will need adequate ambient light to see the characters clearly. The included Type-C cable charges both the keyboard and the mouse. Power management is handled through auto-sleep standby modes. The keyboard can remain in standby for up to 150 days, while the mouse lasts up to 200 days. This reduces the frequency of recharging during long trips.

The mouse features slim scrolling and switches rated at 25dB. This lower noise level is intended for shared spaces where quiet operation matters. The hard case stores the tri-fold keyboard, the mouse, and a foldable stand for tablets ranging from four to eleven inches. This creates a complete portable workspace. You simply unfold the keyboard and begin working. The design avoids extra setup steps, making it suitable for frequent travelers who need a reliable input solution.

Before you buy this kit

You should verify your tablet dimensions before purchasing. The included foldable stand fits tablets between four and eleven inches. If your device is larger, the stand will not support it properly. You must also check your laptop ports. The 2.4G receiver requires a USB-A port. Many modern thin laptops lack these ports, so you may need an adapter. Bluetooth pairing works with most major operating systems, but you should confirm compatibility with your specific phone or tablet model. Upkeep is straightforward. You can recharge both the keyboard and mouse via the included Type-C cable. The listing notes auto-sleep features to save power. This kit fits best for travelers who need a complete office setup in a hard case. It complements other portable options by offering a full-size layout rather than a compact alternative. You get a number pad and precise mouse control in one package.

Check before you buy

• Check if your tablet fits the four to eleven inch stand range.
• Confirm your laptop has a USB-A port for the 2.4G receiver.
• Verify Bluetooth compatibility with your specific phone or tablet model.
• Ensure you have a desk surface for best typing results.
• Check if you need backlighting, as this model is non-backlit.
