Key specs explained for X9

Full-Size layout with Number Pad

This keyboard includes 110 keys, providing a standard row of function keys, arrow keys, and a complete numeric keypad on the right side. You benefit from this layout if you frequently enter data, use spreadsheet software, or rely on numpad shortcuts for gaming. Compared to compact or tenkeyless models, this design requires more desk width but eliminates the need to learn alternative key combinations for numbers.

Triple Mode Connectivity (2.4G + Bluetooth)

The device supports dual Bluetooth channels and a 2.4G wireless dongle, allowing you to pair up to three devices simultaneously. You can switch between a computer, tablet, and phone without reconnecting. This setup suits users who juggle multiple screens or operate across different operating systems. When shopping, compare this to single-Bluetooth models that require manual re-pairing for each new device.

1000 mAh Rechargeable Battery

A 1000 mAh capacity battery powers the backlighting and wireless functions for extended periods before needing a recharge. You save time by not swapping disposable batteries, and the included USB-C cable simplifies recharging. This capacity is robust for a slim profile, offering better longevity than smaller cells. Check competitors for mAh ratings to ensure you are getting sufficient power for all-day use.

Built-in Phone Holder

An extra-long dock is integrated into the keyboard to hold smartphones or tablets securely. You keep your mobile devices within sight and reach while typing, which streamlines workflows involving cross-device copying or video calls. This feature is ideal for users who reference phones while working on a computer. Compare this to standard keyboards that require separate stands or mounts for mobile devices.

Design and build details

According to the listing, this X9 Performance keyboard measures 17.3 inches in length, 5.56 inches in width, and 0.89 inches in height. The silver finish suggests a neutral aesthetic for your desk. The slim profile allows it to fit easily into tight spaces without taking up much room. You can place it on small desks or lap desks without issue. The full-size layout includes 110 keys, which means you get a complete row of function keys and a dedicated numeric keypad. This design supports precise typing and efficient data entry workflows. The inclusion of a phone holder adds practical value. It keeps your mobile devices within reach, allowing smooth transitions between your computer, tablet, and phone. This setup is ideal for multitasking without cluttering your workspace.

The keyboard is described as silent, which indicates low noise levels during use. This feature suits shared offices or quiet home environments where loud clicks might be distracting. The triple-mode connectivity, combining 2.4G wireless and dual Bluetooth, lets you switch between three devices effortlessly. USB-C charging ensures compatibility with modern cables. The device works with Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android systems. This broad compatibility means you can use it with various operating systems without driver issues. The build focuses on practicality and multi-device support rather than premium materials.

Setup And Daily Use

Setup begins by connecting the included USB-C cable to charge the 1000 mAh battery. The listing notes this ensures clear visibility for the backlit keys in any lighting. You power on the device and switch between its three connectivity modes: dual Bluetooth and 2.4G wireless. This allows you to pair up to three separate devices simultaneously. The keyboard is compatible with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. This means it works with iPads, iPhones, Galaxy Tabs, MacBooks, and Surface Pros. You can switch between these operating systems without needing additional drivers. The built-in extra-long dock serves as a phone holder. This feature keeps your mobile devices within reach. It allows for smooth transitions between your computer, tablet, and phone. The full-size 110-key layout includes a number pad. This design supports precise typing for workflows that require heavy data entry. The keyboard is described as silent. This implies the switches are designed to reduce noise during daily use. The slim profile and silver finish help it fit neatly on most desks. You benefit from the backlit keys when working in low-light environments. The rechargeable battery provides all-day power, reducing the need for frequent charging. The triple-mode connectivity ensures you can maintain connections across different devices. Before you buy this keyboard

You need to verify your device compatibility before purchasing. This model supports Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. Ensure your tablets or phones support Bluetooth pairing or have a 2.4G receiver port. The included USB-C cable charges the 1000 mAh battery. You should keep this cable handy for regular recharging to maintain the backlit feature. The silent switches reduce noise, but you should test the feel on your desk. The phone holder is built-in, so you do not need a separate stand. This keyboard fits well with other wireless options in our guide. It suits users who need a full-size layout with a number pad. Check your workspace size, as the full-size design requires more desk space. The slim profile helps, but it still occupies significant width.
