How each alternative compares
Redragon MMO Gaming Mouse with 19 Buttons
The Redragon M901K offers 19 buttons, giving you one more programmable key than the Impact. It shares the 12400 DPI limit and includes RGB backlighting, which the Impact lacks in its base specs. Like the original, it supports weight tuning for balance adjustments. You should pick this if you need that extra side button for complex macros. It trades wireless convenience for physical control, similar to the Impact. The model designation differs, but the core MMO functionality remains focused on button density. This is a direct competitor for players who prioritize macro access over other features.
Redragon Wired MMO Mouse with Tuning Weights
This wired Redragon M908 variant matches the 12400 DPI and includes RGB lighting. It features tuning weights for customization, just like the Impact. However, the listed dimensions are significantly smaller at 4.8 inches in length compared to the Impact’s 7.88 inches. The weight is also lighter at 6.17 ounces. You might choose this if you prefer a more compact form factor for smaller hands. It retains the wired reliability and MMO focus. The size difference is the main practical change, affecting how the mouse fits in your grip. It is less suitable if you need the larger footprint of the original.
IOGEAR 12-Button MMO Mouse
The IOGEAR GME680 provides 12 programmable buttons, which is fewer than the Impact’s 18. It is a wired device with a black finish. The dimensions are much smaller, measuring 4.9 inches in length and weighing 9.6 ounces. This makes it heavier and more compact than the Impact. You should pick this if you prioritize a stable, wired connection and a smaller footprint. It lacks the high DPI and extensive button count of the original. The trade-off is a simpler, more robust build with fewer customization options. It suits players who do not need the full suite of MMO side keys.
RED Samurai White Wired MMO Gaming Mouse
The RED Samurai White MMO Mouse offers 10 side buttons, which is fewer than the Impact’s 18. It shares the 12400 DPI limit and includes RGB backlighting. It is a wired device with a white color option. You might choose this if you prefer a white aesthetic for your setup. It provides onboard memory for settings, which adds convenience. The button count is lower, so it is less ideal for complex macro setups. It is a solid wired alternative for players who value color and precise DPI control over maximum button density. The compact design suits smaller hands better than the Impact.
UtechSmart Venus Wired MMO Gaming Mouse
The UtechSmart Venus Pro features a higher maximum DPI of 16400, exceeding the Impact’s 12400. It offers 12 side buttons, which is fewer than the Impact’s 18. It includes RGB lighting and tuning weights for balance adjustments. The dimensions are smaller at 4.6 inches in length and 7.8 ounces in weight. You should pick this if you need higher DPI sensitivity and weight customization. It is a wired option with a black finish. The lower button count makes it less suitable for complex MMO macros. It is a good alternative for players who prioritize sensor performance and physical balance over extensive button access.
Redragon M921 Wired MMO Gaming Mouse
The Redragon M921 offers 18 programmable buttons, matching the Impact’s count. It shares the 12400 DPI limit and includes RGB backlighting. It is a wired device with a focus on precise tracking. The model number differs, but the core specifications are similar. You should pick this if you want the same button density with a different model design. It provides wired reliability and weight customization options. The main difference is the specific model identity and potentially minor design variations. It is a direct alternative for MMO players who need extensive side keys and high DPI settings. It fits those who value wired stability and macro control.
